Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A new gathering in Madrid united religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise eu newsroom González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
